Intraobserver Agreement

Here we have used VCA to provide relevant RCs. In Study 1, we found an OR of 2.46, which is half the width of the Bland Altman compliance limits. In Study 2, the CR was 2392 for identical conditions (same scanner, patient, time and observer); The approval of different scanners brought the RC to 2543. The differences between observers were negligible compared to differences resulting from other factors; between observers 1 and 2: − 10 (95% CI: − 352 to 332) and between observers 1 vs 3: 28 (95% CI: − 313 to 370). The current study also evaluated the concordance in the progress analysis of the Cirrus OCT machine. Our results indicate only moderate convergence of interobserver. To our knowledge, the current study is the first to analyze the concordance of this software from the Oct Cirrus instrument. However, previous studies on the concordance of other structural tests have been published. Breusegem et al17 evaluated the coefficients of interobserver κ among 3 specialists in a set of 2 series optical scree for glaukomatic changes in 40 patients.

The authors reported moderate interobserver concordance (κ, 0.51; 95% CI 0.33-0.69).17 In another report using heidelberg Retina Tomograph (Heidelberg Engineering) expressions for 168 patients, 3 experienced observers found moderate-to-good agreement between all Heidelberg Tomograph methods.18 In the current study, the comparison between κ compliance values in OCT progression was slightly higher than that of Oct progression. Progression in VF. However, the data did not indicate that a definite difference had been found. .
